Project in Santa Clara
This is a Dining room & Master bedroom suite addition project. Large windows stretch the views from inside to the backyard. The Bay window seat is part of the Master bedroom; it helps break up the big gable visually. New bar area in the dining is an extension of the existing kitchen cabinets, and make the kitchen look larger. Coffered ceiling in Master bedroom adds more volume to the space.

Project in Los Gatos
This project is an addition of 2 bedrooms, a Study, and an entry Foyer/Porch. The clients wanted to maximize the addition space, but did not want the addition to look "flat" from the Front. So, the design of the exterior has forms in steps. Also, the two gables are broken up visually by a section of the hip roof in between. The hallway now ends in a wider "pocket", which leads to all the bedroom doors. Closets are placed so you don't see them directly when entering the bedrooms. Vaulted ceiling in the new Foyer creates an inviting entrance. Matching arches in the new addition to the existing creates a rythm in the interior.

Project in Cupertino
This is a Family room/Study & a bathroom addition project. The addition had to work with the line of the existing pool, so the building line is in steps, which resulted in a "double-gable" addition. Placement of the bathoom was for dual purpose, so it could be accessed from the pool side as well. The gravel bordering the walls of the new addition is not just decorative, but helps to drain the overspilling water from the pool.

Project in Los Altos
The clients wanted to maintain views to the backyard from their existing dining, so the angular addition of the Open-plan kitchen and Great room gave that solution. The "double-coffers" in the ceiling has expanded the overall volume of the space substantially! Angular layout makes the kitchen visually dynamic. Symmetrically balanced wine-bar & desk area accentuate the tall refrigerator section. Cooktop on island allows the client to watch TV on the opposite wall.

Project in Santa Clara This is a Master bedroom suite addition project, which needed to follow the principles of Feng-Shui. The bed had to be oriented in a specific direction. Some space was borrowed from one of the existing bedrooms. Small hallway in Master bedroom screens the view to the bed. Large windows in the Master bedroom extend nice views from the bed and ensure good energy flow! Material choices in light colors gave the"light & airy" feel to the Master bathroom, that the clients were looking for.

Project in San Jose
The clients wanted "architecturally interesting" spaces in the new extension of their Living & Dining room. Addition of bays added the dynamic diagonal lines in the room space. Double-coffered ceilings & a skylight addition helped magnify the volume of the space. Steps down to the Family room were altered and widened to give a better entrance to the room space.
